We should be allowed to bring pets to school!

Have you ever wanted to bring your pets to school? Well I know I have, that’s
why I am going to convince your teachers to allow students to bring pets to
school.

Firstly, your dog can cause a lot of trouble if it’s left at home, alone.  I mean if
your dog escaped from its cage, it would cause mischief to your home and ruin
everything, even important or expensive things! You don’t want to know what
other damage your dog can do to your home, they could create a giant mess
anywhere! For example: you locked the cage and checked twice so your dog
wouldn’t just push the door open and bark at the neighbours! After the dog did
all it could do they will have boredom because they have nothing else to do
so they’ll stand by the door or window to wait for you. Or when you know your
pet is really lonely at home, alone with no friends. You could take your pets to
school just to keep an eye on them and they won’t be lonely if students are
around all the time. Maybe if your teachers allowed you to bring pets to school
they could build a room just for your pets and they could hire a person to take
care of your pets and a vet just in case they get sick.

Secondly, having pets at school is a good learning opportunity.  Your pet is a
rare animal and your classmates know nothing about your pet, for example:
they want to learn more about your rare pet and they ask questions like “How
do they survive in the wild?” or “How do they catch prey and what do they eat?"
If you tell your teacher about your pet she might be interested in what you’re
saying and start a new project about the animal your pet is.

Do you need to share news with your class tomorrow? Are you allowed to
bring pets to your school? If yes, share information about your pet, talk about
its adaptations, facts and secret features the animal has that nobody knows
about! Tell them the story of what you thought of the animal when you got it
and how you and your pet bonded during the first few days; feeding and
playing with the new family member. Show the class what tricks you taught
your pet, impress your friends and classmates with your talented and smart
pet. It may encourage them to get a pet as well and teach them exciting tricks
like they saw you doing!

Children will want to learn more about animals if they see the animal more
often.   They would care for them if they know one animal is endangered for
something they have, like snow leopards fur. Knowledge is power! The more
you are around animals and learn about them, the more respect and love you
will have for them. You may also start to think about how you can help animals
who are in danger, sick, injured or homeless as a result of your affection for
them.

So bringing pets to school will have lots of fun things but also involve learning
because you could start a new project learning more about your pet. Or to
avoid getting your house destroyed by your own dog, causing mischief but
also you don’t want to keep your dog lonely forever don’t you? If I had a dog
I’d rather spend more time with it or adopt a friend for your dog. So now that
I’ve told you about the advantages of taking your pet to school, don’t you think
we should be allowed to?

My money note

I chose Mr Bainbridge because he is leaving Auckland to go to England and sadly he is not planning
to comeback. This will be a reminder of him so I don’t forget how great a teacher he was.
The tukutuku panel on the left side is orange on the top and dark green on the bottom, the security
features are, the holographic bird and trees which are rainbow coloured and the serial number to know
it’s real. There is a New Zealand country shape on the money note too, the coin next to Mr Bainbridge
has his name on it. This note is $30 and there is a special feature to it, there is a secret password to
the money note. To figure the password the clue is that the serial number IS the password, if your
buying something you can say the password and the cashier will give you a $40 discount so you can
save more money.
